Poljoprivrednik — portal, CMS & classifieds

Business context

The project is not just a visual redesign. You have to align the public content, the daily work of authors and editors, the archive, advertising and SEO continuity. The system has to be simple enough for the newsroom yet structured enough to support a large number of categories, formats and commercial positions.

Problem

  • Content and editing weren't organised as a clear workflow
  • Author and editor roles needed more precise boundaries
  • Ad positions and campaigns required central control
  • Mobile display and speed had to match a modern audience
  • The archive and SEO value had to be preserved during migration

Solution

The public portal and the admin were developed as two sides of the same product: an editorial workflow from draft to approved post, a media library, comments and subscribers — plus ad positions P1–P7 with campaign management.

System modules

Public portal

Homepage, categories, articles and mobile view.

Editorial workflow

Authors, editors and editor-in-chief — from draft to publishing.

Media library

Photos, documents and video in one place.

Ad positions P1–P7

Campaigns, schedules and impression statistics.

SEO

Slug, meta fields, social media and structured data.

Statistics

Readership, subscribers and comments.

Roles and permissions

Authors write, editors and the editor-in-chief approve, and marketing manages positions P1–P7 and campaigns with no code changes. Every change stays in the history.

Results

The portal, editorial workflow and commercial features were unified into a platform that supports the newsroom's daily work and the further development of the digital offering.
